hi guys, my 1999 tumble port heads are currently at the shop getting a valve job and resurfacing. they are attempting to reassemble and none of the seals we have tried so far fit over the guides.
first tried FEL-PRO SS72888 which is what shows up on rock auto for 99 dohc. they are too small for the guides.
so then I bought these at the shop owners request, they are for a 93/94 mark 8, didn't work either.

I think he's going to try the sohc seals next.. not sure what the right answer is here. anyone experience this before?
