99 stock lower pulley

is the 4lb for a 99-00 or a 01-04? There is a difference and it's because of what you have pictured.

take that part off i did and put a 4lb lower from metco on it that i had from a 04 truck it works fine and metco said they are all the same.

I broke that part when I did the swap, freaked me out big time! But yeah ya dont need it so no biggie.

Are there any benefits of using a lower pulley instead of an upper. I see most people go ahead and change the lower first to a 4# or 6#. Why do only so many people change the upper>?

lower is easier to do, larger gain with lower, more belt slip with a smaller upper swap.
