When you jack the rear of the car up and both wheels are off the ground the springs are still under compression. You may be able to use a spring compressor but you will need to disconnect the rear sway bar. I would not do it that way. Go to the MM “instructions” page on their website. Look for the “subframe removal PDF. It will give you a blow by blow description. • Remove exhaust • Remove driveshaft (mark (index) it before you remove it. That why you will not have any vibration issues) • Loosen front subframe bolts (do not remove) • Place jack under diff (see photos in the MM pdf) • Slowly snug up jack to diff body taking the weight off of the • Remove the two rear subframe supports • Slowly release jack • Springs will release have a friend pick them out (pay attention to the top perch orientation take a picture with your phone of each spring • Swap isolators or put new ones on • Install the springs in the same orientation • Jack the diff up and guide rear subframe supports into the support cradle (see photos) • Install bolts • Do everything else in reverse The MM pdf is great it gives you the torque values. It is not a bad job if you are proficient with hand tools. Support the car per the PDF. Hope this helps. Maybe one of the guys has done it with a spring compressor???
