I have compiled a build list for the next step on my 99 cobra trying for 800 whp. looking for input suggestions.

molner billet rods
diamond pistons 30418 9:5:1 compression
felpro MLS head gaskets

( do I need upgraded valve springs for these ?)
3 angle valve job
melling left primary and right primary sprockets ( read not to use the comp cams adjustable ones)

mmr head kit $885 (bronze guides valve stem seals lifters and rockers)
mmr lifter shim kit (unsure about this)
mmr upgraded valve locks

You won't make 800 with the V2. Believe me I know, I tried... I used the IW 15% crank pulley and like you mentioned the 8 rib is the way to go. Not sure if I missed it, but do the head cooling mod while it's out.

Yes on the upgraded valve springs, Are you keeping the T-45??? I tried to but it broke, add in the price of a T-56 to the build. I still don't think a SCI trim woukd do it, I think you wound need a YSI blower for 800 plus...

Not sure what others will chime in, but I'm in the low 600's with cams/headers,Vortech JT. Just not enough CFM coming out of the V2 blower.

Mid headers are a waste of time. Little to no gain. Go full length or stick with stock manifolds.
