Does anyone have any experience with swapping a 99-04 complete solid rear into a 96-98 Cobra?
I think the 99-04 is a little wider overall (about 2", so I've heard).
If this is a fact, are there any known issues as to why this would not be a direct swap?

Its doable but you may have issues with certain wheel offsets. Any reason your going to a 99-04 rear vs trying to find a 94-98?

There are a couple guys with 99+ rears for sale that have the 3.73 that I want. Then I could sell my complete 4.10 rear.

Or I would totally rebuild mine for not much less money.

Besides, "Wider is Better".
