Anybody ever done a 18" wheel in the rear and a 17" wheel in the front? :shrug:wondering what this would look like. Thinking of maybe doing this if i sell mine and get a 03/04 mach/cobra

Dont think it would look terrible. People do 19 front and 20 back and it looks good.

Why would you want to do this out of curiosity?

Glad I could help man! My only concern would be getting the stance right. I'm very picky when it comes to my ride height and fender gaps lol what looks good in the back with 18s will have a gap in the front with 17s. I only got those wheels because they were a great deal and due to 2 broken wheels after an accident I was in desperate need of a set. I would personally rather have a all 18 set. On the other hand I do like my 315s on my 17x10.5 bullit combo that came on my car. I guess it's just a personal preference thing. Good luck with your decision man! Just remember it's YOUR car so YOUR opinion is all that really matters at the end of the day!

TSW Valencia's
17x8 20mm offset 245/45/17
18x9.5 20mm offset on 295/35/18's

The trick is simply all in the tire sizing, obviously with the 18's you're already dealing with a 1" taller wheel. So you'll want a thinner sidewall than your 17" tire. As long as you keep the tire heights the same or close no one will ever notice. For instance a 295/35/18 is 26.1" tall. And a 245/45/17 is 25.7" tall. That .4"th of an inch is lost by the eye and since they're almost the same height no one will notice it until you go read the tire size on the sidewall.

Thanks guys and both cars look great! and i think if i would attempt this i would have coil overs so i could be able to adjust stance and make it perfect i think that is the key as well!!
