99'-00' rims on 01'L

I will be traveling to JDM on the 23rd of this month. It's a long way to Jersey from Chi-town and i had a question about stock rims. I have a 99'-00' rim wheel and tire for a spare in case of a flat on the way. What was the change in the stud for the new wheels. I know the 99 rim will fit on my 01 but do i need to use the lug nuts that came on my 01'? Or do i need to get 99' spec lug nuts? I think the studs went form 12mm in 99' to 14mm in 01'.
I want to be prepared for my trip. :shrug:

99 used 12mm, 00-02 uses 14 mm. wether or not the rims from 00-01 use the same lug nuts.....they should.........i don't know
