guys,

My Cobra got a dead miss in it last week.........
smoking, missing bad.... I thought I messed it up.

Ended up being a bad coil.

Got a brand new coil, wire, and plug in that spot #3.

Car runs great, fast, smooth etc..... BUT.... when cruising along normal, it
has a miss that feels sorta like a bad TPS.

So I replaced that, and still doing the same thing.

any thoughts?

riding along highway etc...... just has slight bucking, missing...intermittently.....
...
NOT like a dead miss where there is a wire off or something.......

any advice on what to check next?

pull the plugs and check them or better yet replace them alltogether. I reused plugs that were 3 months old and looked good when i put my last motor in and it was causing a bad miss. Replaced the plugs and she runs like a champ now. Atleast its somewhere to start.

I ran into the same thing. Is the car a DD? Post up some pics of the plugs-close ups-
I think Carlo hit the nail on the head. Lidio tuned my car so safe & fat I go through plugs like every 2 months. ngk tr6's are so cheap I dont mind.

+1 Lidio set me up with a safe tune aswell. If I try to drive after start up it will start bucking. It does it under minimal load. Even in the summer I have to let it idle for a few minutes before I try to drive it normal. I just figured that's what I had to deal with a blower.

As was said, change the plugs (TR6) and go from there.

And to the other guys, if your changing plugs every couple of months and can't really drive the car until it's warmed up...you both need a re-tune. Both my turbo car and Kenne Bell car act like stock from startup, part-throttle cruise and WOT runs and I don't change plugs every few months.
