Okay so long story short the motor is likely done for (although I'm not investing time or money to verify) however I have linked a video for you to hear. Car starts and runs (can be driven but wouldn't recommend going too far)

One day the motor made noise (as in video) aprox 2 blocks from home. Shut car off and came out just minutes later and noise was gone. Aprox a month maybe 2 goes by and noise comes back and is hear to stay it seems. I've bought a new car so and don't have a garage or space to keep this so here it is.

I've done a little research and if I was to part this out I could make more money but honestly I just don't have the time.

Other issues: Rear suspension needs work, drives fine but def needs some attention. A/C isn't super cold but does work. Trunk doesn't stay open (needs new struts) Everything else is pretty good that I recall given the age. If you want to come see it just let me know as it is at my parents.

Couple Trans. serviced,belts changed,brakes,tires(how old besides rubber)etc..

Note e-bay does not have many listed,need to go to autotrader and yahooauto to see alot,interesting.E-bay has it plus's but I don't like,how do you buy car without seeing or talking to person,yeah I spoke to some there but you give deposit and travel long distance and get there and your not happy,got two party's pretty upset.Spoke to guy FL. with one (real nice) same year and milage but already had one deal fall thru and hopes Mon. not to have another or I am all over this car. Enough-I have stop.

I don't want anyone to show up and be surprised or un-happy. Which is why I tell in detail everything about the car.

Note, car had new starter put in by Ford in Nov. 08.

Your very different than e-bay,your here.If here need to do another site,I do same.There are very clean with same milage ones on yahoo and autotrader that get for 3k or less.There is spread on these sites (everything being equal) from 3k to 5k.From what I seen you could get 3.5k to 4k.Starting out out 6k I think to high but understand what you got do.I like yours alot but you can see from those sites I can get one for what I said and you should get higher price also.If want to move quicker I am here.If have time it makes thing's different,you get higher price.Same for buyer,miss real nice one FL. but another nice one came along in NY going look at this week and saw some added to sites today going to check out.Get back to me any way,also like to here about EVO.Some don't understand it rear wheel drive and 4wd(not just for winters)we need both(fwd to me is cost factor or go 4wd-kid's&winter),besides my ford's couple years ago had Audi S6(96) turn 104's at limerock and high 103's when r-compound's were fresher,almost same as my track prep 87 stang which had more power.
