98 is the ls1 correct? if it is its a drivers race. the mach 1(03/04 stick) has the advantage down low, the ss(stick) has the advantage on top.

machs trap what? 105? +/-? some ls1's trap 109 +/-, but since its a 98 and if its not running like its suppose too, due to not taking care of it and stuff like that it should be a good race, maybe the mach can edge him out. Btw driver mod is probably the most important thing when racing similer fast cars.

98 LS1's (even SS or WS6) cars do not trap 109mph. I owned one...lucky if I got 104 at 13.30's. Thats totally stock from the factory.

Yeah thats wrong. Ive never heard of a Mach 1 breaking into the 12s stock.

This is the epitome of a drivers race. Assuming they are equal drivers, the ls1 has the advantage.

Dont need to, Not all LS1's Expecially 98 is gonna run 12's. A street Race between these two would be a good race with me picking the Mach 1

Yes but you stated the Mach 1 has the advantage. If the ls1 can run a faster time then a Mach 1, then the ls1 should have the advantage. You make no sense.

It's been claimed a couple times... with slips, and witnesses... but was met with skepticism. Could happen at one of the notorious "fast tracks" I guess.
