98 cobra with 4.30 gears

Hey everyone I have a 98 cobra with full exhaust and cold air intake.. I'm trying to figure out where my rpms at 70-75 would be with 4.30 gears.. right now I have 3.27 and getting them swapped for 4.30. would this be too high for the highway... Ive heard 4.10-4.30 are best for these 4v cars and I don't care about gas mileage...also how much of a seat of pants improvement be going from 3.27 to 4.30

I don't think your exhaust and cold air intake has anything to do with travelling rpms ,. Just how fast it will rev

Yes
Gears are the biggest bang for the buck. No question about it. Don't forget the Speedcal.

Install it and adjust the slide switches to match your tire height/gear ratio. There's instructions in the box, and you can always call Dallas Mustang if you need more info.

Ok thank you.. ordered the speed calibrator and will have the gears installed next Tuesday.... So we will see...

I'd get a sct tuner... The speed cal is ify at best.... when I used one on my 03 Mach it was jumpy, so I couldn't use the cruise control, and the Speedo didn't work at all when WOT..

SCT tuner won't work for that function on a 98

2650-ish at 70mph
2800-ish at 75mph
3000-ish at 80mph

Here's a short pull I did with them...I still haven't figured out my speedcal...gonna have to start from scratch and do a complete re-install to get the speedo working right I think.
