98 Cobra Engine temp

i have an 98 cobra and i have changed the coolant and i have goten all the air our of the system and it has the orignal thermostat in it and the temp guage reads always around the a and the l in normal and im used to mustangs being right dead center is the guage wrong or are cobras just like that i though about changin the thermostat to an 180 instead of 195 and also the car does not smell hott or anything so i dont know i hopeing the guage is wrong thanks for ya help

Although most say the stock gauge is inacurate it really more narrow band ranged.

Around the "A" is normal for a 100% stock cooling system
