Mustang Week has now come and gone, I ended up winning best 79-86 so that was a nice treat. Back to work on this turd! I pulled the trigger on the Maximum Motorsports stuff, minus the k member and A arms. Not sure what to do engine wise in the future. First thing to come in is the cage. Just a 4 point that I will add additional bracing to in the future. Untitled by |SK Photography|, on Flickr Next piece to arrive is the CHE rear shock tower brace. Untitled by |SK Photography|, on Flickr Little info on this piece, side to side deflection is zero. so this thing doesn't serve much of a purpose.... Well normally they don't. I run this one because I am running Coils. This will place extra strain on the shock mount wanting to push it upwards. This shock tower brace will strengthen that area by bolting to both the shock mount and the floor of the vehicle. In the future I will also tie in the roll cage to the rear shock mounts as well. Thats all for now, waiting on the rest of the suspension to be delivered.
