doing a solid axle swap on my '03 cobra. i need rear springs, i found a good deal on a used set from a 97 cobra. my question is how well will they work? im guessing the cars are about the same weight. any input is appreciated.

From a quick search and the spring rates that are listed here
The 03 GT rear springs were 210 lb/inch linear and your car is heavier than a GT.
The 96-98 Cobra rear springs were 165-265 progressive and your car is heavier than that.
I would guess sloppy for your car (in corners). It may actually be decent for launches and weight transfer. I would go aftermarket for something stiffer or get a good sway bar kit. Depends if you want to launch or turn....
