Hi,
I recently purchased a 97 Cobra and would like more performance out of it. I am looking at a supercharger for it, but the engine has 130K. I was wondering if I should have the motor rebuilt first or just wait and see if something breaks (it is my daily driver).

any input is appreciated,

thanks

I am in exactly the same boat except 100k less miles. The group here has me leaning toward a P1SC. I would rebuild your engine with some forged internals and add a power adder!

I am also looking into D & D Motor Sport Stage III heads.

You may get a few good miles out of it or it may fly all to hell. I think anyone, myself included that is boosted on stock internals is in the same boat. Roll the dice and see what happens.
