97 Cams vs 03 Cams - pictures

Hi guys,

I know this is not terribly scientific but I was unable to find a cam card on either the 97 or 03 so I just looked at them. They both appear to have the same lift but the 97 has much greater duration on both the Exhaust and Intake cams.

I don't know how this will translate to HP but I am putting them in and will try it out.

Did you mean to say that the 03 cams have more duration and you're going to put those in?

If your going to do anything with the cams, get some comps or something around those lines. Make it worthwhile, don't waste your time swapping stock for stock. Why bother? :shrug:

yeah 97 cams are better than 03 cams, the exhausts are basically the same but our intakes are better..

I have the 04 cobra heads but I put my 97 cams in them - they are more agressive! I wish I had an extra $1000 laying around for some Comp cams! Maybe some day
