Well fellas, I figure I'd go back and try to get some slips after out grudge race match during cruising the coast at the beginning of Oct. Anyways, got to the track and let the tire down to 16 psi (cold), teched in and made my first pass, spun pretty much all of first and got sideways. Still netted a 12.37 @ 112.4x on a messily 1.85 60' got back to the truck and shut it down to cool off, went to crank it, nothing and popped a fuse in my relocate setup. After popping 2 I figured I'd check some wires.. Pulled my buddies sissor jack out and noticed power to starter, nut is dis appeared and wire is off. So robbed from somewhere else and made something work. Car sat for n hr in 50-53* weather
Go stage, comes out the hole pretty good, nail all the shifts n get rewarded with a 12.22 @ 112.67. On a 1.68 60', best I have pulled on motor.(New best)
Let her cool some more and switch lanes, (all big tire cars were running right lane) get up launch and come out hard it felt like, but my foot slipped all the way to the floor. So in rush I managed to get back and hit second but missed 3rd, first time I have done that with this tranny from thet45source. N mgw shifter. Got the slip was a 1.64 60' so I was mad, botched what prolly woulda been my 12.1x pass. (Trying to hit 11's with the other fast bolt on guys)
Tried running one more time but the guy in the water box was soaking it down and had. 30' trails coming out of it. And I spun horribly trying to get my launch up in the 6-6500 range vs my normal 5-6. Said f it, n started warming the bottle.
Made 2 nitrous passes 1.64 60' [email protected], n 1.60 60' 11.64 @ 117.xx musta lost it in my shifting who knows.. I know it's got more in it. Figured 1.5's woulda came easily on the spray with extra 80+ wheel and 140 ft lbs. just need a little more time launching on the nitrous. Only made 4 timed passes on this setup n 4 at cruising. (Un timed)
