Guys, I had a local shop install a mc leod street level clutch in my 96 gt. The throwout bearing, pilot bearing were replaced as well but kept the oem cable. I am feeling a slight vibration on the clutch pedal if my foot slightly rests on it while on idle and even while the car is in gear at full speed. Is this normal? The shop tells me it is because it is not a hydraulic type clutch. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks

Did they use a Ford throw out bearing? or the cheap thing that comes with the clutch?

There is a proper clearance or adjustment for the TOB to the diaphragm.

It could be too far away. The TOB is designed to be in contact with the diaphragm at all times. You can try to pull up on the pedal to get the factory quadrant to re-adjust itself, otherwise you may have to get a firewall adjuster and aftermarket quadrant.

If its a slight vibration, it might be fine. Just make sure it doesn't get worse. If its too tight against the diaphragm though, eventually it will push through it.
