Hey guys. I recently purchased a 96 laser red convertable cobra. I absolutely hate the seats. What can you guys recommend as far as seat options? Please include how difficult it is to do the swap(in other words can I do it by myself?) and any other info that would help. Appearance is very important to me as well as the comfort. Thanks a ton.

I am keeping them. They are in pretty good shape. I just hate the way they feel. Zero support.

cheap option would be seats from summit (400 or so plus brackets), or you could by 03-04 seats simple install just some wire splicing I think (anywhere from 800-1000 bucks is normal), and then of course you can get recaros or someother other aftermarket brand, but all are expensive
yeah the 1999 and up cobra seats are a lot better for support then the stock ones. I ended up putting in Simpson racing belts to keep me in the seat for autocross and road racing. I know if you can find a cheap pair of manual seat rails you can install them in most of the aftermarket seats with only slight tweaking.
