I need more room at the front of the motor for my turbo setup on my 97 cobra . I've tried doing the COP conversion and lost almost 800 rpms due to spark blow out at only 13 psi with a .023 plug gap. So COP stuff apparently isn't going to work for me especially going to 25 plus PSI with my turbo set up. Has any mounted their coil packs under the intake manifold? If so any problems? I could try to mount to fire wall but that would be tight fit with my fuel pressure regulator mounted back there as well. Any insight would be appreciated.

I've never done it, but I've seen them mounted along the firewall. I've never seen them below the intake.

Ryan did his under the intake. It looks clean and works well just have to make up some plug wires and the harness for the coil packs.
