95 gt drivetrain to 85 gt

I have a 95 gt 5.0 with an auto tranny I want to swap the engine to the 85 and keep the t-5. Will I need a different computer or will the one from the 95 work with the T-5.

I believe the computer will work, as you can use an auto computer on a manual, but not vice versa. However, them 94/95 computers were more finicky and less forgiving than the the old A9L's (manual) and A9P's (autos) found in the fox bodies, so I wouldn't be 100%.
