A couple of weeks ago, there was discussion about the R50 replacement wheels cracking, and that the R58 wheels were discontinued. I'm pretty sure they have been discontinued, but there are some still around. Gene Evans Ford (Atlanta) has about 175 R58 wheels still in stock for around $140 or $150ea. When there gone, there gone!!

Unless something has changed recently, we called them and they dug thru boxes looking for the old wheels, they found none and said they couldn't help us out.
I made a post comparing the two, the original wheels actually look lighter in the effected area. I think I just got a bad wheel.


fyi: Ford racing wheels have no warranty, so you are on your own when stuff like this happens.

Cobra-R, I received a pair of R58's from Gene Evans last week. How long ago did you talk to them?
