OK guys,
Every once in awhile my car will take about 3 cranks to start up.
But a few days ago it took the car probably 7 times to start.
And today my car wouldn't start for a good 15 minutes.
I can hear the fuel pump priming..so does that eliminate the fuel pump as the problem?
What else could it be?
Thanks,
Matt

pop ur trunk and pushe the reset red button for the fuel pump on the driverside, just because the pump is priming doesnt mean it is anygood, my 88 cougar was doing the same thing, i could hear the pump kick on but wasnt strong enouugh and eventually died after similar issues, so i think it is ur fuel pump bro, get a nice walbro 255lph one off ebay or something, might as well beef it up instead of going back to stock

Maybe a clogged up fuel filter? That's a cheaper solution to look at first before getting a new fuel filter. I picked one up for my '96 Cobra for less than $20 at Autozone.
