94 L fuel pump question

I have a quick question about the fuel pumps in the 94L. Will the in tank fuel pumps from a 2000L fit and work on a 94L? I ask this because the 94L is s/c and has an extra inline pump, but it went bad and i want to see if i can eliminate the inline pump with 2000L pumps. I know the 2000L pumps have to flow a hell of a lot more than the 94. Thanks

The pumps from a 2000 Lightning will not fit unless you do some sort of custom setup.If you want to upgrade fuel pumps the easiest way is doing the "dual pump trick" it's a hobbs switch that activates both fuel tanks under boost or low vacumn.I've got this setup in my truck and it works great.I got it from a member at the nloc that goes by sstock.Certain mustang intank pumps will work with some modification,i'm not sure what alls involved though.The gen1s have 125lph fuel pumps in each tank and i think the gen2s had a single tank with dual 155lph pumps.
