94-98 axles in 99-04 housing

I'm putting a solid axle rear end in my 03 cobra next week and as I was taking parts of the rear end I noticed something interesting.

If I order aftermarket axles without abs rings can I put the shorter 94-98 axles in the 04 rear end I have? I am already deleting abs.

I wanted a 94-98 rear end so the wheels would tuck in more but I found a complet 04 rear end for a fair price so I got it.

They fit, just like you said they are tucked in slightly compared to 99-04.
