94-95 GT or 96-98 GT

Buddy I was in the same boat and I waited to long on the 94-95 and it sold so i got the 97 and im not saying its a bad ride cause its not but its nice but its just not as fun as my last 94. I wish i could've gotten the 95, mods are cheaper, more wide spread and better return on them. Unless you plan on doing a full PI swap on the 96-98 dont get it. Mod motors are only fun if they are 4v!!!!

94-95 for sure, way more fun stock(torque down low) and way cheaper to mod.

94 - 94 is what I would pick.

All depends on what you want to do. The 96-98 will be a nice cruiser and IMHO and the opinions of many others, can't beat the sound of a 4.6 2v mod motor. They are very nice cars to drive. My '98 is pretty much all stock save for exhaust and very minor bolt ons and it has a shitload of torque. 293 ft lbs to the rear wheels to be exact.

Now, if you plan on modding the stang and making it fast, my choice would be the 94-95.

i love my ole 95. parts of cheaper byfar and the torque is much more fun
