hidguy.net has really good quality kits. I'd go with them above all others.

Not to sound like a douche, but why would this get sticky'd, it's like a " Hey, i mounted my ballasts here" thread, not a how to.

I'm thinking the 6000k hids. I want a bright white but not with a blue tint. Just not sure if I want the slim ballasts or the uberslim ballasts for another $20. I'm curious if their regular ones will mount under the rad cover.

    edit:

LOL sneaky I didn't notice I double posted. The website has been slooow tonight!

Not sure why we even need a write-up. They just plug into the headlight harness and then wa-la, you have HIDs.
Can't you see the ballasts through the grill opening?

Not everyone has clear understanding of how simple it can be. I'm wondering how the balast have held up to the elements considering the location they were installed. I think I would have tried to keep them away from the outside elements. Do they fail inside the engine bay due to the heat?

Nope, I never had a ballast fail due to engine heat. I have 2 cars (a set for the 3rd car is in the mail) with them under the hood and no issues. Mine are tucked away neatly as well.
