'89 probe alternator swap

So, the alternator in my dads '89 probe shit the bed and was wondering if anyone has ever replaced one. If you could compare it to replacing a terminator alternator I would have a pretty good idea of what its gonna take

BTW its not a turbo.

We used to have one, but damn if I can remember where it even was on that car. Look it up on autozone and see what's involved.

Cool I didn't even know they had that feature. looks like its a little more involved than i thought you have to pull the passenger side half shaft and it supposedly comes right out.

My Ford mechanic friend told me that the dealership price would be around $700. That gives you an idea of what a PITA it is.

Doug, this is a different car. This probe is a 4cyl with a different chassis. Should be alot easier.
