Just wanted to introduce my project notch. Bought it in July 2013 and it was mostly stock save for a respray, wheels and minor bolt ons. I looked for the cleanest body I could find and this one didn't appear to have any bends.

Goal in the end was a fox that handled like a S197. I tried finding used parts but they always came with a headache so most of the parts came from Western Motorsports up here in Canada.

Then stripping suspension, brakes....everything else.

Cleaned up the engine bay, welded some holes and added Scott Rod panels - I didn't do the welding - had a friend help out with that. Also, painted the engine bay black - will eventually paint it to match the car when I repaint the body

Sweet! I'm interested in how difficult the swap is.
Everything fit well and there were enough people who did it before me which made it okay. Still had to trim the trans tunnel, make brackets for the coolant overflow tank and radiator etc. Another thread mentioned a guy looking to buy one for 10K. That's not enough to cover the motor and install let alone anything else.

Realistically how much money does it take to do a coyote swap??

Depends on what you start with - if you take out all the chassis, suspension, brakes and bodywork from my build you could probably get it done for between $12-15K. This would be using a coyote from a truck or wreck, plus a used transmission. Still need the K-member, PCM, bellhousing, clutch, accessories and their brackets, tuner and intake (could use the one that comes with the PCM. You also have to modify the accel pedal for drive by wire. Best to check out American Muscle, which has a whole section on what is needed for the coyote swap.

Edit: forgot you would need swap specific headers and mid-pipe also.

Nice build. I see the fuel system in which you purchased. What fuel lines did you run?

Just had some stainless lines bent to match the factory located ones. Could have re-used the ones on the car because after we took them out they had obviously been replaced recently. There is a company that sells the whole fuel kit needed for the swap - pump, lines (pre-bent), regulator and fittings for about $1000USD. Might be an option - I think the company is called High Flow Fuel
