I'm trying to decide between the two but I'm confused because some people say that the 10000k has purple in it but I've never seen it in the pics. I'm not worried about having the MOST usable light because I can't tell my lights are on sometimes. I like the way throatystang's hids look (maybe they're a little too blue).

So let's see some.

Just to point this out, pictures can't really capture the color of lights. I can make my 6000k kit look purple or yellow depending on camera settings.

If you want the brightest light possible for HIDs get some 4300k ones and call it a day . The higher the kelvin the more blueish they look 4300k is white and is damn bright .

4300K and 5000K have the same lumen rating. I would pick 5k though to get away from all the stock factory hid cars like i did.

edit: here ya go.

There are sooo many debates about this....point is DO NOT get more than 8k that's really unsafe. I'd personally say no more than 6k myself.

And no, i'm not going to explain my reasoning, there's PLENTY of evidence to support my opinion.
