My guesses:

1) British cars, not known for having good wiring.

2) Woman driver, thought the exhaust pipes was the gas filler.

3) None of the above, it's TRUMP'S FAULT!!

It's an English car, they aren't the most reliable things. My father's 4,000 mile 12c is riddled with problems.

Would be why AM switched to ze ol German PU and wiring. BUT Mclaren is a whole different beast. While they have had their issues I would look at this as user error lol
But I dont own one so what do i know

I'm not following the user error comment. I'm not sure how dead hvac screens, airbrake failure, oil leaks, and engine misfires user error?
