I thought I would never sell this vehicle, but what I've learned is to never say never. It's a 2003 Black Ebony Ford Lightning with a built engine and a Precision T-76 TurboCharger. I feel this is probably one of the baddest lightnings around and will scare the pants off anyone that drives it. When the turbo spools to full boost it is very violent and breaks the tires loose at anything below 60mph. The engine is brand new because it decided to spin a bearing at 65mph cruising on the interstate.

The truck was tuned by Bob Kurgan of Kurgan Motorsports, whom is an authority on tuning Fords and even more specifically modular Fords. It was tuned on a very very conservative dyno at 15psi with 12 degrees timing on 93 pump. He managed to squeak out 610rwhp and 635rwtq at 15psi. At the dyno session, I was also rolling on a very heavy set of 22" chrome wheels. Like I mentioned above, it is very violent in the top end when the turbo spools. We spun it to 6200 and it was still making power. The turbo cams are agressive and really make it scream in the top end.

When the turbo isn't spooling, it drives like a bone stock f150 and really makes it almost impossible to imagine how powerful it is when the boost hits. Before the truck was built and had heads and cams, it manged 550rwhp at 15psi. I think in the current state at 15psi it will do 650rwhp on most dynos, and possibly more with 3 more degrees of timing. The engine itself has less than 500 miles and is still being pampered during its break in period.

I will be supplying extra quarts of oil for the trans, engine, and power steering that I bought for the break in period. I also have Mobile 1 fully synthetic oil and an oil filter that will come with the truck for its first official oil change on the new engine.
I personally have $17,000 worth of receipts for the mods of the truck, not including the price of the turbo kit. Nothing was missed on this truck, and I think it is more than capable of doing over 700rwhp on race gas.

Price is $21,500 obo
The truck is located in Bettendorf, Iowa 52722. It is 2 1/2 hours west from Chicago on the Mississippi River.

Thanks guys, to answer the question above-the turbo kit was actually put on in Ohio, but the truck did have just over a year in Florida.

Any track times? if not expectations on pump and race gas? Also if anybody has any experience financing something well over blue book I could use some help. Credit score or money isnt a problem just think I might have a hard time getting so much over blue book. Very interested thanks

It has only seen the track once and it was somewhat of a gimmick. We have this thing here called hang over fest which is on January 1st when it is well below 20 degrees outside. I was rolling on 22" rims and couldn't get traction till 3/4 way down the track only on 10 psi of boost. I managed to run a whopping 13.7 at 115 with a 2.4 60ft.

There is more than enough power to run 11's in this current setup. The truck still has room for 3 more psi and more timing on pump gas. A big stall and a good set of tires could get you in the 10s. Then there is always the option for 20psi+ and race gas. That's when you'll have to address other things like the transmission, suspension etc...

Last year when I purchased the truck, my bank found the value at 21k. It had 8k less miles then though. Your best bet is to use a credit union or Captitol 1 automotive financing.
