Hello to all. My 01 f-250 is currently in the shop getting her transmission rebuilt/upgraded. Since I am upgrading the transmission I wanted to upgrade the transmission cooling system as well. I was told the factory trans cooler off of the 6.0L is a direct bolt on and a decent upgrade, does anyone have any experience or is using this cooler on a 7.3? And since my A/C condenser has a nice hole punched in it, I am going to replace it. With the trans cooler removed and the condenser removed, is the 6.0L front air to air intercooler better than the factory 7.3 intercooler? I plan on upgrading the turbo in the near future so I figured I would look into upgrading that as well since I'll be working in that part of the truck. Is the 6.0 intercooler a direct bolt on or does it require some fabricating? Thank you for any responses.
