600 whp Turbo 3v loses to 5th Gen camaro

Background:
First kill on the new engine... lots of shit talking back and forth with this guy, we decided to finally run em. He finally got his shit together too, so it was a run what you brung kind of night.




Mustang:

Built 3v (some fancy saleen shit)
Cool intake
67mm snail pushing whatever pump gas allows (10-11psi?)
Manual
~620rwhp

Camaro:
429, weight reduction (~3600),
Huge stall 4L80.
~590rwhp (N/A)

Both cars had a 220lb passenger

The aftermath, mustang ended up with a hurt cylinder a few minutes later on the way back. The camaro pushed the valve cover gasket out and sprayed some oil everywhere (needs better PCV).

We towed it home with my buddy's.... Chevy truck. Priceless.

Rematch to come sometime soon when he fixed his shit and I add some more pcv vent.

The camera loc sucks for nighttime. It's my daytime mount, didnt have my camera in the nighttime position . We started side by side, I ended up about 2-3 cars up at 140

I was betting on the 3v winning with the extra 30 horses if they both weighed about the same seeing as the maro had weight reduction, and its crazy that you won by more than a car but I wasn't there so good kill

again, no offense but you must not be familiar with going fast in a straight line if you dont understand why a 600 rwhp auto car would rape a 600 rwhp manual car

Go do some research. maybe take a look at before and after 1/4 mile times for 03/04 guys that swap to autos....that will paint a good picture.
