6 or 8 bolt flywheel?

Gettin conflicting answers everywhere I look.

Some places say 8 bolt is for early 11' and 6 bolts for later production dates. Some places only list 8 bolts for 11-14.....

however I thought it was the other way around if I remember correctly I read an article where the 6 bolt pressure plates had issues with bolts backing out.


Either way, any definitive answers?

My 14 is an auto but it has an 8 bolt crank.

I just swapped my flywheel. 8 bolts held it on
