Without LI/NYC, the rest of NY has a LOT of republicans.

if they were the 51st state, we would have 102 senators and the house would have to readjust based on population, most likely some of the lesser pop states would lose a representative or two.

i would argue that romney had more land owners voting in his favor. i have no stats to back that up because i don't even know if they exist, but i think that could be deduced.

edit: i would also argue that obama had more votes in his favor from people still living with their parents

Puerto Rico is a beautiful Island, clean, the people are friendly, they might as well become a state. Traveling there you will find all the luxuries and amenities of any state side town or city.
