Ok so here's the scenario. You have $15,000 and you want to build a great looking daily driveable Mustang with around 500rwhp. What do you do?

Here's what I would do (intend to do):

Buy a cheap 94-95 GT, paint it red, get Cobra RR hood, cobra front, SVO side skirts, Saleen wing, black Saleen wheels, build up the motor to a high comp 347, get a 150 shot, and use the rest of the dinero for supporting mods (gears, suspension, exhaust etc.).

That's just what I would do.....what about you?

Spend $6K or so on a notchback, buy an R 302 block with forged internals, AFR 185's, good blower cam, good intake, supporting crap, minor suspension work, and a turbo kit. That way I always have 500rwhp.

Hell you still have 9k left at that point... Why stop at 500?

$6K on the car alone. Probably cost $4,500 to get the motor together. Could put a turbo kit together for $3,000. Some money on exhaust and suspension. Would probably need a different tranny too. Like a TKO or something. It be cutting it close but spending $6,000 on the coupe alone...it would be one clean ass 500rwhp sleeper.

FliteQH your pictures at the bottom of your posts are freakin' great!! I laugh my ass off at every one you put up.

96'-97' Cobra with a blower. I love the 87'-93' car look but for a daily driver would want the better driving 94' chassis.

Where the hell can you find a 500rwhp Terminator on sale for $15,000?

You can't but you could take the 15k and put down 10k on the Terminator finance the rest take the left over 5k and spend it on a chip, pulley and some other things that would get you 500hp. Sounds like a plan to me. :coolman:

Thinking the same way, except I would keep it stock-looking and use an auto.
