Im still getting used to the power my almost stock 2008 CBR1000RR makes with a measly 150 rwhp! 500 bhp would be ungodly!

yup! i've been riding for about 8 years now, just bumped up to a 1000 a year ago, and i'm still scared sh!tless of it!

I'd absolutely love to ride a turbo bike....although 190 in the quarter is more than most can handle!!

that is insane. I trapped 142.6 last weekend on my R1, I cant imagine adding another 50mph on top of that on 2 wheels.

Turbo Bikes are always going to be the fastest in their times.

I built my Turbo Kawasaki Z-1 in 1977

Compared to today's incredibly high tech machine it was stone ax crude.

I used a Rayjay turbo, a log type exhaust that was later changed to a 4 into on shorty header. And an old Harley one barrel draw through carb. It had water/methanol injection. I ran 10psi on the street and 33psi on the track.
My best time was 9.42 at 157. The bike was stock length and the rear tire was on a three inch rim. Rubber was about four inches wide. It would either lift the front wheel or spin the back one. Sure had a lot of fun with that bike.
