Good question. What product are you using for insulation/sound deadening?

Noico 80mil. It really lays down nice and adheres well
We were actually having a laugh about this last night as I finished installing the last section. It’s a good thing this isn’t a race car because it probably added between 20-25 pounds to the car. The trade off in this case was well worth itI know weight is not high on a priority list for this build but any guess how much the insulation and sound deadening may have added?
I’m wanting to do the same but just wanted an idea of the weight it will add.
Thanks
Oh yeah, nothing crazy like that! LolThat’s actually not to bad! I could live with that considering the benefits. Mine is full weight full factory interior 2003 Cobra except for an aluminum block tubular front suspension and an SRA. So definitely haven’t tried pulling any weight at this time.
100 lbs would be a different story lol.
Curious how the fitment is when it’s all said and done. Been thinking about getting an ACC carpet myself.Got the new mass back black ACC carpet in the sun to let the wrinkles relax so this interior can start going in View attachment 1592032
I used it on the previous build as well. It takes a lot of patience and small amounts of trimming to get it right but it's pretty nice overall. Nothing will ever fit as well as the factory rug though so don't expect that. I like to put new carpet in every build. Makes such a massive difference in not just appearance, but even the smell of the interior. After the insulation, new carpet and new seats....this will literally have "the new car" smell when done. Then again, it is literally a....new carCurious how the fitment is when it’s all said and done. Been thinking about getting an ACC carpet myself.
I don’t mind having to do a little trimming. As long as it fits nice and tight and isn’t loose causing it to bunch up I’d be happy with it. Doing my seats as well be nice to have the New Car smell again.I used it on the previous build as well. I'm more than happy to help any way I can should you decide you want to go that routeI don’t mind having to do a little trimming. As long as it fits nice and tight and isn’t loose causing it to bunch up I’d be happy with it. Doing my seats as well be nice to have the New Car smell again.
We liked the idea of going in line based on our experience with sloshing and pump starvation for hard corneringMan that's alot of pump! Curious, why not just a fore triple pump set up?
