5.4 Mod motor

Anyone here of swaping a lightning motor into a t bird? if so can you give me info on what years are compatible and any other info you got. thanks

http://www.tccoa.com/articles/engine/index.html# here is the site that gave me the idea. I figure it should be a good fit. Will have to get a new hood and some other stuff but I think it would work. Anyone have any ideas?

You will definetly have to get a new hood cause the L motor is one tall bastard. Why not go with an 03 cobra swap ina bird or a marauder motor swap with a blower. Just a few idea's.

you'd need about an 8" cowl hood. the 5.4 can be shoe-horned in, but not the lightning motor.
