5.0 vs 4.6 exhaust

I got a question from one of my friends about this, and I wasn't too entirely sure but I figured someone on here would have the answer. He just picked up a mostly stock '96 Cobra with stock exhaust on it. His brother in law has a 95 Cobra with the Borla catback kit on it and is looking to get rid of it. I would think they should bolt up, give or take a few clamps maybe, but should mostly be the same. Is that an accurate statement, or is the 5.0 and 4.6 systems that different?

all stick axle catback exhausts are essentially the same as far as mounting points go, i think.

That catback will fit for sure. In 98 they moved the tailpipe hanger location.
