I had to pull my upper intake to replace a rotted fuel vapor vacuum line and I've tightened everything back up hand tight but not to exact torque specs. My Haynes manual lists:

Intake manifold-to-cylinder head bolts
Step 1 96 in-lbs
Step 2 16 ft-lbs
Step 3 20 to 30 ft-lbs

I'm assuming Step 3 is what I need to follow, correct me if I'm wrong, as it is the upper intake and the last part of the entire intake manifold that gets bolted down, just want to verify this before I hit it with the torque wrench.

Be very careful with it, those bolts aren't very big and they can strip fairly easily. 20 ft lbs seems about right, iirc....

Nevermind, I was reading the wrong section, and a buddy of mine told me 24 ft-lbs. is enough.
