In a way I feel kind of stupid, but whatever. Last night me and Joe5.0 got my water pump on for the 4th try and no leaks. We ended up taking a look at the inlet hole on the plate that came with my new pump and they were twice as large as the stock holes. The gasket is supposed to seal around the small inlet holes, not block the larger holes on the new plate. I knew it didn't look right when I held up the gasket to the new plate and the gasket could potentially block the flow, but it didn't even hold water. I am very relieved to be able to participate in High School Drags today at Pacific Raceways. Hopefully breaking a 13.9x with the new set-up. :banana:
