4r70w Overdrive & lock up activation clarification: constant or momentary

Not sure how this works. Installing auto with a MVB. Do I need to run this through a toggle so there is a constant connection or is it just a momentary switch needed?

I know stocker auto cars are momentary, but not sure if the PCM controls that in that situation.

What about lock up? Same question. Constant or momentary.

my lock up and od both are on toggle switches, hope that helps.

I'm using the Baumann controller and you can choose either. Mine is on a toggle and lock up is controlled by the controller.

If you use led switches you need to run extra relays, ask me how I know lol.

It's constant if you're going directly to the valve body, momentary would be used in a controller/relay situation.
