And overlayed vs my 57s @ 9.2PSI

So I learned 3 things.

A. I need to put the 3.27s back in!
B. I need to upgrade my fuel system!
C. I need a retune!

Basically I was seeing 8.5PSI @ 6050ish on the second pull (not listed) where it put down 489RWHP (due to not revving it out to 6200). I didnt watch the boost gauge on the first pull so I would say MAYBE 8.6-8.7PSI. The dyno just wasnt loading the car down and it was building boost with RPM. I see 9.6PSI on the street @ 5500....so that means iv been running it at a good 13-1+ A/F on the big end  . If it would have got full boost, she would have made over 530RWHP  .
I never even heard a PEEP out of the turbos....just no load there with the 3.73 gears and low load of a dyno jet. :(

BTW if anyone is wondering, we just put on twin T-61s. So thats the only difference vs last time.

^PM me. im definatly interested if they are a good price...otherwise ill go straight for 60s as well.
I think im going to start doing my own tuning (SCT pro racer) so since mine are maxed, ill need to upgrade. How much power did you have before you maxed them?

And yep, thats the general rule of thumb....420RWHP usually. But IMO as long as the tune is safe....the motor is safe. And heck even with a VERY unsafe A/F the car has been fine. Only 15*s of timing helped alot though :D

You picked up 19hp and lost 81lbft of torque and that's a good thing? Not to mention the losses under the curve.

Not bashing, just curious to see how the new setup will perform at the track compared to the 57's.

Yeah, that should help. Just some big losses under the curve, looks like about 100hp at 4K rpm, and well over 100lbft, but I guess that's the price you pay with bigger turbos, hopefully it'll work out at the track for him

Reason for so large of a loss is due to no load down on the dyno. I see 9.6PSI by 5500 on the street, but only 8.5PSI @ 6000 on the dyno. 57s seen 9.2PSI @ 4200 on the dyno and 3800 on the street....so not a huge difference with them street vs dyno. But these T-61s REALLY love load so they dont do anything on the dyno LOL. Its really not as bad as it seems...especially the torque :) In reality the car is making OVER 530RWHP on the street @ 5500RPM....thank God she didnt blow!
