The motor is a 351 based block with probe pistons, scat stroker kit, arp head studs, afr 205 heads cnc ported. Studs have main girdle on bottom end. The cam was custom grind solid roller by anderson cams with .625 lift on intake and .625 on exhaust. The carb will be a prosystems custom 850 cfm. Centerforce dual friction clutch with a quicktime sfi bellhousing and tremec tko 600. Everything down to every nut and bolt is new. The compression on the motor will be 10.2:1, the rockers are harland sharp 1.6 ratio with the girdles. The list goes on and on. So what do you think about this setup and what should it run and how much horsepower do you think it should make. Its a 408 cube stroker and the cam will hold 7000 rpm. The car will be fully gutted and weight in around 2800.

Im hoping to run low 11's in the quarter.

Your motor sounds just like mine. You cam is a little bit bigger though. Mine is also a custom grind @ .608 .610. I had a TKO 600 in mine, and hated it! I went to a 6-speed and really like it. The motor made 528hp and 500 torque at the tires and I ran a 10.8X @ 125. My car weighed 3240 w/ me in it. So you should be in the mid to low 10's. Good luck with it.

I agree on the 10's I there is a local guy here with a 408 coupe / victor jr heads ( box stock ) 550'ish lift cam and a trick flow EFI intake.......running low 11's and you have less weight along with a bigger cam and a carb. Yours should be stronger.
