Got a lot of gritty gunk and corrosion to the plug tube and valve cover area at the #4 cylinder plug tube, essentially the area where the COP sits. Had the same thing on my 01 Cobra. Now my 04 is starting to get it, the paint is flaking off the valve cover under the COP, there is no obvious signs of water intrusion from the COP cover gasket or the COP wire loom grommet.
The plug tube has a bit of grunge and gritty gunk in it, appears to be a bit of buildup around the plug at the bottom of the tube as well.
Anybody solved this problem?
