4.6L coil packs

I have a set of 8 2V coil packs. These were on my 99 Mustang GT. These were new(about 2 years old)coil packs from Ford and have about 5K miles on them. Replaced them with Grantelli coil packs.

So you bought the new 2 years ago from Ford and put 5K miles on them since then. Why did you replace them if they were working correctly?
