4.6L 4 valve timing chains

Is it normal to for the drivers side chain to be a little loose and then tighten up just by turning the motor over by hand. This happens on every revolution. This is a new rebuild so there is no oil pressure yet. I timed the cams by putting the dark link on the dot on the crank spocket and the other dark link on the dot on the cam spocket. The passenger side does not do this so that is why I'm asking.

It will do that until the adjusters have oil pressure on them after the first start or prime.
