500 hp will get boring in like..... 5 minutes smh. Go Coyote and save for a whipple.
Something no one mentioned yet is a coyote swapped new edge will most likely have better resale value down the road.
According to the listings on Facebook marketplace, putting a Coyote in New Edge turns it into a $25,000+ carI would disagree.

I wonder how much harder I can push my set up ? I’m running a 4.15 blower pulley on a D1 and that netted me 570 to the wheels on a mustang dyno.500w was fun for a day…I like my 650w+

6600 to get 570 on e85 with a 4.15 blower and 10% OD crank pulley. I have Manley H beams and Manley flat tops with all arp hardware and mellings oil pump. Stock heads refreshed with pac springs and gt40 followers. Oh and 6600 rpm was about 13# on boost.I dunno what the guts of yours are rated for but the D1 will definitely go a lot more. What RPM are you spinning it to and how much boost does it make as is?
You have a 3 bolt or single bolt tensioner?
10:1, 3.5" blower pulley (8 rib etc... w/ some slip) made 15#s and 650 on 93 (I think 14 degrees), 19 degrees on E85 made 715

Agreed. Stay 4.6 op.hmmm...thats about what I made on the new motor @ 9.5:1 on 8# (put the wrong damned belt on and slipped like crazy) w/ 93 octane. Not sure on the dyno. The previous numbers were on a MD1100 I think it was
but let's not derail OPs thread too far lol
I just found a site with a 4.6 stroked to a 5.0 for 13500 on LM engines. Comes with a deksid core sleeve and all.Yeah 20 k for a 4.6 is outrageous
even worse for a coyote.
PM you....
